I have made 2 Tanjore painting at Akshara Tanjore art Studio, Divya is a excellent teacher. I went there as i was curious and wanted to learn the Tanjore style painting, our teacher looks into each persons art understands their skill and trains them accordingly. It's her instructions guided me to understand, learn the art. The various steps to complete the art are explained and corrected. I really enjoyed it. And would go back there for more

This was my first art work ever.. The first time with paint, brush and a board. Never thought this first time would be such a wonderful experience and a great learning. Enjoyed every bit of it right from tracing to final painting work. Kudos to Divya at Akshara Tanjore Art Studio who helped us through this learning phase. What I loved the most is that she patiently teaches us ( remember am a first timer) and encourages us to do every small bit by ourselves and see a blank board magically become a marvellous painting. A truly beautiful experience and painting.

I would like to share the enriching experience doing my first Board or to say precisely, the first painting I ever did, with Akshara Tanjore Art Studio. I never thought that painting could be so enjoyable and satisfying. Divya of Akshara Tanjore Art Studio has exemplary skills in Tanjore and other forms of Art too. She not only teaches how to get started with the Board, but also explains other minute things like making the Board, consistency of mug work, cone , colors used, etc. One must really appreciate her patience, dedication and encouraging attitude in teaching this art form. I would like to share my experience about my first board with Akshara Tanjore Arts. Divya is very passionate about art form which made my learning knowledgeable and interesting . Right from the beginning Divya guided me in choosing the right board for the painting . Each process from tracing ,stone work , muck work , cone work, gold foil work and painting was taught in detail so that I could learn at my own pace . She would invest a lot of her time with patience for the minute changes and intricate details which I wanted to make and modifies her teaching which would suit each one of us. She encourages us to do every bit by ourselves which was worth the final frame. The final board was loved and appreciated by my relatives and friends. I had a great time with fellow students which made the class fun filled and entertaining. I had amazing experience of learning Tanjore Art form from such a Professional and talented teacher who also teaches other art forms like Madhubani, Gond, Mural and Marble . Looking forward to doing many more paintings with her and would recommend her to anybody who wish to learn Tanjore Painting,
