Our local tour guide Justin is an amazing and professional person who provided an outstanding service from the very beginning to very end. We went for the 4 hours kayaking tour and had a great time passing by rice fields and the amazing scenery. The only bad thing about the day was discovering how polluted are the canals in Alleppey, we are afraid this ecosystem has a deadline of few more years til it's complete destroyed unless locals stop polluting these water and the local government implement a serious plan to clean and maintain water systems.

Really enjoyed our afternoon tour with this team. Our guide was extremely knowledgeable about local culture , wildlife/plants and history, and set a nice pace for us when kayaking. You get to see backwaters that houseboats can't fit on, where you see locals going about day to day life. We had lots of stops and were fed well with local cuisine each time. There is a boat nearby to store valuables, and to hop on and off for the busier stretches of water. Far better value than getting a houseboat for the day and also, a lot more fun? Definitely one of the best ways to explore the backwaters is on a kayak.Able to go to the smaller,calmer canals and experience in the beautiful nature and nice villages far from the main town.We were lucky enough to be the only once on the tour for the day, so our guide Jestin gave us a brilliant personal tour talking lots about the nature,economy and life in the area.Lunch and snacks provided were absolutely delicious and a great addition to the day.Would definitely recommended to anyone who is looking for an authentic and beautiful way to experience the backwaters.Best wishes...see you again.
Kayaking there was very fun. The guide was very nice and helpful, and took me to different places around the backwaters. It has been my best experience in alleppey!
