St. Thomas Orthodox Syrian Church, a 115 years old church comes under the Malankara Orthodox Syrian Church. The church comes under the current Bishop Dr. Yuhannon Mar Dimatrios of diocese of Delhi. Over the years the historic church has been survived by the priests, members and well wishers from the mere subscriptions and occasional donations. This Church is not only a religious place but also a beautiful attractive and a spiritual space because of the beautiful mango orchard and other fruiting/non fruiting plants planted in the church compound. This Church is one of the main attractions of Ambala and definitely deserves a visit.
