Review for Saraswati Idol in picture frame - Beautiful piece of art. Infact one of Pallab's best creation. Pallab created this idol in own imagination in the Krishnagar style of idol making. Review for Saraswati idol in semi bangla art form - I am extremely thankful to Pallab Pallab Sekhar Das for creating such a beautiful idol of Ma Saraswati. He has put months of efforts in addressing every little detail to my priceless "বাড়ির ঠাকুর". I wanted a idol that had all the elements of "bangaliana - বাঙালিয়ানা", divinity, creativity, and simplicity - "একঢি প্রবাসী ঘরের পূজো যাকে বোঝায় যাতে আছে আন্তরিকতা আর ভক্তি" Crafted in fibre glass, this process took months and the outcome is what I asked for. Height - 23 inch including chali - a perfect miniature with lots of detailing and minute work. Apart from the idol, Pallab and Bablu Da have done an excellent packing to ensure that Ma travels safely from West Bengal to Navi Mumbai - Idol safely packed with layers of foam sheets, delicate parts like face and hands wrapped with cotton and foam. The idol was placed in a wood and ply packing box lined with heavy foam layer from inside; additional layers of packaging cotton wool to keep idol in place.
