Gurukul Ventures is a proprietary investment firm that supports child-centric education models. We strongly believe every individual is unique with different learning interests and abilities. In the pursuit of scale and rapid growth, a lot of education companies have created a rigid curriculum framework and technology solutions where the child is forced to fit into the rigidity of the system. By the time they have gone through this "education system"​, they have lost their creativity and uniqueness. We believe that the child should not be fit into technology learning pathways, but technology should help the child create her own path. For doing this, first and foremost an entrepreneur has to focus on the needs of every individual child. Which means most of the time we do stuff that doesn't scale We love great teachers. A Great teacher doesn't scale but she leaves an indelible impact on the lives that she touches. Gurukul Ventures is an ode to the great teachers who have influenced our lives. We measure our returns, not by the financial gains we have made but the happiness of the children we serve.
