Nice looking items but way too expensive. Im sure there are better places if you ask people who live there, sadly we didnt.

Best place to visit for marble handicrafts.

I purchased a very pricey marble elephant here on my trip to India which was to be shipped to my home. The one I chose had some imperfections which they agreed to fix before sending it to me. It took over a month to arrive which was fine as I thought they were attaching missing pieces and fixing the paint. However, when it did arrive it had not been fixed. I repeatedly emailed Raj Kothari, the store and the tour guide who brought us there asking that they send me the pieces and paint so I could at least fix it myself. No one responded. Although it is a beautiful store, they are dishonest and I would recommend buying elsewhere.

Do not shop here! I made a large partial payment on an item. Now I cannot get them to reply to my emails. A complete scam

Typical tourist trap. Do not go here. First they give you a fake display of how they work, then take you downstairs to wow you even more into buying ridiculously overpriced items. Say you're about to leave and then they pull out the small items. Same things as outside the Taj. Beautiful no doubt but too pricey. These places just want to make a sale. Tourist trap, don't waste your time.

They promise the safest shipping, items won’t break in their ‘professional wrapping and boxes’. Yet it came broken. They say you have to open an insurance claim and pay more money in order for them to reship the item again.
