Master sculptor Ram Vanji Sutur, sculpted the statue at Ram Sutar Art Creation Pvt Ltd, Noida & transported to Bangalore The bronze statue costs Rs 11 cr & 19 tonne of bronze with 7 tonne of stainless steel was used Law bans any kind of construction within the limits of Cubbon Park The High Court had banned installation of statues around Vidhana Soudha, Vikasa Soudha & Legislators’ Home. Karnataka Govt amended the Karnataka Govt Parks (Preservation) Act in 2013 so that they could take up the project within Cubbon Park to install the Gandhi statue.
