Absolutely delicious! Had the mango tufu curry. Really really good. You can taste the fresh ingredients and everything prepared on the same day. Good non-veg options too. The chicken was very soft. Great Goan food!
Visited Sumaya after 4 years. This used to be my goto place for lunch and dinner when I'd backpack and stay at Palolem between 2011 and 2016. The ambience and vibe has more or less stayed the same. The quality of seafood served at the restaurant is really fresh and the prawns thali is totally worth ordering in. Ask for Sandeep aka Beckham's the owners choice on the available seafood and he'll recommend the freshest fish available on the day.
I tried dal kichadi here. It was good. Rest of the food like chicken and veg thali was also average.
If you're looking for authentic goan food, this is the right place! I enjoyed every dish that I ordered. Must try their dessert called 'Hello To The Queen'!! The ingredients are simple but the way they make it is absolutely wonderful. I guess, one of the most memorable moments of spending time in Palolem was this restaurant.
Go there only if you are not hungry and lot of time to wait for avg taste food... Better take someone you want to take revenge
The Fish thali here is superb. I don't miss a chance to visit this restaurant whenever I go to Palolem beach.
