Located within the same complex as the Government Museum & Art Complex, this is a jewel of a museum for those interested in architecture and urban planning. Entry tickets is 10/person and another 10/person for photography. The museum and its exhibits are spread out over three floors and the stairs are not too steep. I loved learning how Chandigarh was designed by an American and a Polish American duo. Le Corbusier designed the buildings and his cousin Pierre Jeanneret designed many of the furniture still seen from locally sourced materials. The staff were very professional and kept this small museum clean.

If you really want to explore Chandigarh come visit these museums first. Revolution of nothin to something and best out of normal all is present here. This place is a motivational and history prints made you more shock about changes occur within time. Must visit place of city
Another of the public buildings in Chandigarh designed by Le Corbusier and having a more typical brutalism structure that the neighbouring art museum. The museum contains we hi its explaining the design and building of the city - making it clear that it was far from being to sole work of one architect. The museum is a little bit gloomy but nonetheless interesting.
It was an amazing experience. Luckily I was with a guided museum tour. It's a three storey building. You'll get to know a lot about Chandigarh and it's vast history.
Contents were good but the most amazing part that I felt was the architectural features of those buildings..
Wonderful collection of Miniature paintings.and sculpture of Buddhist period and much more.
It's a Govt. Organised place...having all abt Chandigarh history.. Nearby an archaeology museum too.. Having great pieces of inscriptions and statues of ancient era.... Nearby there is a dinosaur museum also.. Art gallery... Etc.. Etc
It tells you the history of how planned city Chandigarh was established
