This father & Son duo are very very special luthiers because their craft is their passion. Despite being celebrity luthiers, they are very down to earth and have even helped me with my violins at midnight, since I reached there from a good distance. Being personally trained by globally reverred violin maker James Wimmer for several years, they make models ranging from Stradivari to Guarneri and Guadagnini, working on carefully selected/scrutinied imported Carpathian spruce and European maple. Fiddlecrafters' instruments are stunning, sound fantastic, have incredible depth and outstanding projection and are appealing with their sense of artistry and aesthetics. It is no wonder that all the well known and celebrity violinists are their happily attached clients. To me, the moment I go to their workshop attached to their home, I feel a sense of belonging and to watch them at work, I get tempted to learn violin-making and share their feelings of sheer satisfaction that comes from perfection.
