Kalyani revu (gangamma sirasu) water falls is located in back side of mordhana dam . The vehicle can only go up to the Mordana Dam, and need to do kind of trekking for 7km. That's when you get to reach this place. There are multiple water falls once you reach this place when there is water flow. Best time to visit is during monsoon(preferably August to October) as there won't be water in other seasons. Right now in September , there is huge water flow due to heavy rains in surrounding places.

We planned for a trip to Mordana and heard about this place in the parking lot as a place to visit by 3 hours and the distance is 8kms up and down. There is no shops to get water or food in between the hike so its better to get all things before you start the hike. Regarding the hike it starts in Tamilnadu and we will eventually venture into Andhra Pradesh for the falls .Trial starts along the dam and we will go sideways into the mountains where the water flows between the two mountains .Since its in the forest we should be careful about the wildlife animals and should go without disturbing them as we did see 6 feet Snake lying on the side of the trial .Few places the trial was very slippery and we should have nice physical endurance to visit the falls and come back. Falls is a really enjoyable place and get sink in nature

Planned a visit. Interesting info: *It's located along Koundinya River which used to flow keep this falls active throughout the year (till 1960s) *Interesting it's also known as Gangannq Sirrasu falls *Worthy visit during rainy season (AugustDec) *Will visit soon and try adding my independent review Adding helpful reviews from blogs: It is a 600 ft waterfalls, which is located inside koundinya wildlife sanctuary and there is a deep canyon where the water plunges out from it and falls into a steep slope enclosure its worth the visit during heavy rainy seasons Date of experience: November 2015 - Thanks RaajithqR The waterfall is located inside the Koundinya Wildlife Sanctuary, is 600 feet high and can be reached only by foot. The last stretch is very steep and slippery and should be avoided by small children and old people Very beautiful during the rainy season There is a stream to be crossed in between which makes the journey more beautiful Carry food if you plan to stay back for some time and enjoy the waterfall Do not forget to take a local along as the guide Date of experience: October 2017 - Thanks VictorF its a 1000ft waterfalls, but its not continuous, but some kind of step by step. this falls is on the koudinya river and this falls is located near palamaner in andhra pradesh there is a dam called mordhana situated 10km from this falls Date of experience: November 2015 - Thanks VictorF
