Very quite and cosy stay for couples or solo travelers if you are a nature lovers. You will have the company of 3 pet dogs, Zorro, Changu and Mangu. Mangu being the friendliest of all, will come and sit on your lap for petting. Archana mam cooks very delicious food and lots of varieties too. Good place to spend your weekend not too far from the city but away from its hustle and bustle.

Archana's Farm Stay or Aamchi Wadi is an Oasis in the middle of deforested, industrialised area where the land is exploited for quarry. This is situated near Boisar on the Mumbai - Ahmedabad highway - NH 48. This is a farm stay, meaning it is an actual farm and there's a cottage for the traveller to stay along with the hosts staying in he adjacent bigger cottage. The experience is so farmly and so homely, one can't forget it. Archana Mam prepares such nice food - native to the place - that we remain licking our fingers. The owners - the retired couple - Archana & Rajan built their retirement home under love with the mother earth. Rajan, an architect, the real son of the mother earth, has built these cottages with such discretion that mother earth is not a bit disturbed. These cottages are made of mud and cow dung and plastered and floored with cow dung. Unique and real back to nature experience. Go to Archana's Farm to experience doing nothing and staying with yourselves for a day or two.

This is a must stay place for a foodie and nature lover. Mrs Archana cooks yummilious food. You can go for a nice trek to a nearby hill or explore her farm and get knowledge about orangic farming from her. Her 3 dogs are nice and friendly and will always be around you as a guide. I’m surely visiting her place again.

Our stay at Archna's farmstay was amazing. Uncle and aunty are super hosts in real sense. Stay: was comfortable. Living amidst so much greenery and breathing air that we actually could listen to was satisfying. It was beautiful living a mud house village life. Food: The food was scrumptious and we ended up eating more. Farm: It ia self suatained farm, with variety of crops, vegetables. We toured the farm and even got with us bay leaves and all spice leaves. Dogs: You will have company of 3 dogs who will accompany you everywhere and will almost cry when you leave. We had amazing time talking history with uncle and their journey making a retirement plan away from Mumbai into a small village. Surrounding: there is a dam 5 km from the farm, Manor dam. You can sit under the mango tree and spend quality time there. There are a few treks nearby for the enthusiasts. Recommendation: Highly recommended. It is a serene place where you can spend hours listening to music, reading a book or just gazing at the flora and fauna.

This is the perfect place to if you're looking for some quality time to spend admist nature. The farm is situated right next to a hill and is surrounded by trees. I even took a trek uphill and loved the scenic view. The cottage was clean and cosy with all the privacy that one needed. At night, it becomes so quiet that the only sound you hear and the birds and insects. You can see the beautiful sky Full of stars which is impossible in the city. The host Raajen and Archana were very welcoming and made me feel perfectly at home. They grow a wide variety of fruits and vegetables, all organic. Had a lovely tour of the farm as well. And the food, omg. It was just delicious. Archana makes some really mouth watering dishes and most of it is from their organic farm. I have been there more than 10 times now. Will be there again soon. Highly recommended if you want to get away from the city and spend some peaceful time in nature. :)
