My first trek where i was alone in the entire trek i.e. not a single person apart from me. I really like such places & inspite of being alone I enjoyed the trek to fullest. The entry is bit confusing & if no other vehicle park you wont realize that its an entry point as well. The fort is in bad condition but if visiting less touristy place is your preference, do check this place out.
Wow Amazing place. Totally isolated... No human or plastic. Carry everything with you, you will not get anything on the way. Make sure you know roads otherwise you get lost. Keep mobile charged.
The Ahivant Fort situated Near Vani of NASHIK City. One can easily reach here with private vehicle. The fort Construction is awesome and Beautiful nature here. There is too many places to explore on forts. Also, some of the ruined Parts witnessing the history. Fort is good for Trekking, specially for freshers. Difficulty level is easy and can be climbed in 2 hours.
Ahiwant fort is situated in Daregoan. Near to nanduri Daregoan is the base village for fort. There have two routs to go for fort one is from Daregoan from the Hanuman Temple & second one is from far 2 km from Daregoan Bilwadi Bari. This Route is more easy to hike.
Massive fort, lot of fortification, excellent and ideal destination for fort lovers. Need one full day to explore every part of this fort.
