Heaven on earth at night. In this desert at night you can literally see sky full of stars because of absence of lights. Beautiful desert for camping, camel safari, jeep Safai. There's no electricity or mobile network here so you are fully surrounded by nature. Sunset and sunrise View from sand dunes are awesome. We lived here for 3 days in tents for camping. Wonderful place.

Simply awesome and one of the best desert habitats in the country. I was very much excited to see several raptors during my trip to this desert national park. Very well maintained park of such an awesome habitat. Its a unique habitat and the forest department should preserve it. Amazing Place for Nature Lovers, an excellent example of the ecosystem of the Thar Desert and its rich fauna.

Why visit #Jaisalmer in the winters? Well, first things first, the weather will be perfect. No more scorching sun in the daytime. But here are some reasons: . . ️ #DesertCamping is especially fun this time of the year because the #TharDesert gets really really cold at nights and its a completely different and amazing experience to enjoy a cultural show huddled around a roaring #DesertNationalPark is another great option for safari and wildlife lovers. It homes around 50 unique flora and fauna species including the endangered Great Indian Bustard (like in the photo) #DuneBashing and other thrilling desert activities like ATV rides and sand sledding are a fun option for winter and can be done even in the mornings, since the is not harsh #Foodies will have a great time here in the cold months because Jaisalmeri treats like laal maas, crunchy kachoris, rich chai, gatte ki sabji etc. taste really good after a chilling day of travel. It also warms the body from inside..

Really enjoyed camel safari in Desert national park in Jaisalmer. Very beautiful place in India, and a must visit place in Rajasthan. I visited in December, I think that was not that hot time, and especially winter time in North India.
