Good place to spend weekends with friends. Accommodation booked through IP tourism website. Got a chance to stay inside the Jungle. We were lucky enough to get a chance to see Tiger and Leopard. Awesome place. Apart from scenic views and fresh air, accommodation and services are the areas where lot of improvements are required. Rest was good. Wanted to give 3 and half stars but that option is not available .

Very beautiful place, greenery everywhere, beautiful camps, boating and jungle safari where u get to see wild elephants, tigers, leopard, deer, dolphins, crocodile and endangered birds.

The place is good and the sightings of the wild are quite phenomenal here. But I am not at all pleased with the kind of facilities made available by the Forest Department/UP Government. The vehicle they made us available for the jungle safari was in a deplorable state and it definitely did char the whole experience. I was travelling with my family and there was no availability of clean washrooms. If you are charging exorbitant amounts for the safari, the least you can do is maintain the quality you are providing. Horrible experience.

Very dence jungle and we spotted a lot of deers in Safari as well as road side too. Apart from deers, we saw crocodile, gharial, langoor, monkey and some beautiful birds in boat ride. If you are going to Katarniaghat then try to come on weekday because there was very rush on weekend. It will be good if you book safari and boat ride in advanced from online because sometimes it's unavailable offline due of rush. Overall awesome place for one night stay.

Recommended for a weekend getaway from Lucknow. Very hospitable staff. Great safari route. Tigers and elephants can be sighted. Also a boat ride for sighting. Green area and peace away from city. Be warned no network apart from BSNL for miles around.
