Every year, following the Ashoka Astami Snan, Ashoka Astami Mela is organised in Dhubri town which lasts for about 15 days. This is quiet a big fair which is very beautiful and enjoyable. This fair attracts such a huge crowd that the roads get blocked. There is hardly anyone living in or around Dhubri who does not visit this fair every year.
