Positives : 1) Lovely Location with panoramic breathtaking view from the room. 2) Very warm & helpful caretaker. Finger lickin simple home food prepared by caretaker's wife. 3) Extremely helpful and resourceful owner - Mr. Shah. - 4) Large family room was very comfortable and spacious for our group of 5 ladies. 5) Beautiful private estate grounds and garden around the house to explore. Negatives: 1) Non vegetarian food not allowed on the premises (This was informed to us at the time of booking. ) 2) Location bit off the main road, can be a problem if you reach in the night time. Though the map and instructions given are accurate till the main gate of estate. Will definitely recommend to people looking for a peaceful homely stay in the lap of nature.

We had a fantastic experience at Eagle’s Nest Homestay. The views are magnificent from the private balcony and everywhere on all sides. The house has an old world charm with a courtyard and the rooms are very large with high ceilings. We were 5 persons and very comfortable in the room. We stayed at the east facing room from where we could see the most beautiful sunrise from our balcony. We had ordered breakfast and were served with most authentic Sabudana khichdi, Poha, toasted bread butter jam and masala tea. The quantities served were generously large. The caretaker and staff were very warm and welcoming and went out of their way to help us. For any meals we have to inform earlier so the caretakers can get fresh ingredients from the market and have enough time to prepare the food but we chose to eat out because of many restaurants nearby. The location of this homestay was perfect for visiting all the attractions. It is a 3 to 4 minutes drive from the main road , through a bungalow colony to reach the top of the hill where this homestay is located. The owner had sent us precise directions and Google location so it was easy for us and we could follow the “Eagle's Nest” signs on the road. Once inside the property, it was very peaceful and serene as compared to the main road and rest of Panchgani/Mahabaleshwar. We spent the rest of the day just enjoying the gardens, sunset and exploring the open natural areas of the vast estate. My family and me had a very comfortable and satisfying experience staying here and we intend to come back with my parents as it is perfectly safe, homely and comfortable for old people too.

Absolutely best place to stay in Panchgani. Stunning lake views and best location. Cannot praise enough for this place. Please do not think, if booking is available for your dates, grab it. Perfect for visiting Mahabaleshwar. Very large and spacious rooms in this heritage bungalow. We were 6 people in the room and yet very comfortable. Caretakers are very helpful and cook simple but delicious vegetarian food. This bungalow is very close to the main road and yet very exclusive and private, no disturbance from other neighbours or touristy crowd. The owner was very helpful in providing directions and providing information for places to visit. Loved it so much that i am already planning another visit with family.

Very good bungalow with amazing views throughout. We have stayed there for a short trip and the place is located on top of the hill and make you feel real cool about it. If you are visiting Panchgani then you can surely book the space without any doubt. The caretaker also cooks nice homemade food against a nominal charge, the rooms are big enough to fit 5 to 6 ppl and surroundings are neat enough.

Excellent view, away from noise, good homely food. If you are looking for a place to relax in the hills, not worry about work, enjoy the cool breeze and work, this is the place where you should be. Mr.Gaurang Shah - the owner, is friendly, well travelled, ensures comfortable stay for his guests. Sunil the caretaker does a good job and Puggy the dog is a cute friendly dog your kids would love to play with. My son was in no mood to leave the place. He enjoyed playing around the place with Puggy. He misses Puggy.

Have the best memories at Eagle's Nest with friends and family. Surrounded by nature and sweeping views of mountains, lakes and valley. Rooms are large and spacious. Owner is warm and helpful. Staff very friendly. Location is close to Panchgani town with best restaurants closeby.

Vintage Stone Bungalow with colonial rooms. Most scenic and stunning views from the room balcony. Owner was very warm and helpful with various tips on where to go and what to do. Food was pure veg, delicious and home cooked just for us. It's a private estate with a bungalow and not a hotel or resort so do not expect 5 star amenities or swimming pool. Highly recommended for nature and peace lovers. About 100 metres of access road is rough road but accessible by even a small car.
