Very happy with Anthea Montessori! Both my kids have been going there for a few years now and we cannot be happier with the school and the management. My younger one is in primary and I have to say you get the best of the ‘small school’ advantage there. Your child is not another face in the crowd, the founders are so personally involved in the everyday workings of the school that they not only know each child by their name but are also aware of their personalities, which can hardly be said about most schools. At elementary level my son enjoys the student lead approach to learning and is inspired by other kids around him(since it’s a varied age group), working on different subjects everyday. The teachers inculcate individualism and encourage independence(they even have school sleepovers!). Academically both my children learn differently and take different approaches to their classroom setting but I love how the Montessori system can cater to their individual personalities, so much so that school feels like an extension of home for them. Which brings me to my next point. The amount of weekend workshops that they do shows how dedicated the staff is. They are not afraid to put in the extra hours. They periodically bring in interesting people from the education world for the benefit of both teachers and parents alike. They even host a yearly workshop dedicated only to train your at home nannies teaching them the do and don’ts in order to have a seamless transition from the home environment to school. Hello fellow Parents I am a parent sending my kid to Anthea Montessori since the last 4 years. He started his schooling with Anthea and is still continuing there. Though I did not have an in depth knowledge of the Montessori curriculum, when I chose Anthea, ( chose it for the location advantage then), now after being a Primary and Elementary trained adult, I would still choose Anthea for my child. Montessori is all about understanding the needs of the child and respecting his/her pace of development, which I feel Anthea's format matches to a great extent. Like any school there are slight hiccups in day to day operations, which when brought to the founder's notice, are usually dealt with. The team is very warm and considerate and usually accommodative of any concerns the parents have with the curriculum or particularly about their child. They go out of their way in conducting parent workshops to explain the Montessori methodology for different age groups of children. The school is also well respected in the Montessori Community for volunteering and hosting events organised by the Indian Montessori Foundation. In my opinion, Anthea should definitely be considered if you are looking for a Montessori School in Hyderabad for your child. Meet the Management and see the school. Good Luck in your search.
When we came across Anthea first, we were deciding whether to put our child in any school at all or just do homeschooling, because our confidence in the traditional/intl schools was very poor. Once we met the founders and spent time with them, we knew that this is the only place that matched our expectations of individual care for our child. They follow the Montessori philosophy very closely and spend a lot of time in helping parents align with the Montessori way of life. As an early learning experience for both us as first-time parents and our kid, we could not have asked for more. We are grateful to Anthea for nurturing our high spirited child to channelize these energies and keeping it alive over the years. My child absolutely loves the school, esp. the teachers and that speaks for itself.
Anthea Montessori is the best Montessori school in Hyderabad.The founders,teachers,support staff are very friendly and approachable as well.They follow the proper Montessori pedagogy and have toddler,primary,elementary environments (till 12 years of age).If you are looking for a Montessori school for your child,Anthea is the place to be!
