The Gare Palma mines IV and V is one of the largest and high GCV coal deposits in the country. There are several mine owners on lease like the Ambuja, Hindalco, Jindal and others. The mine layouts are open cast and underground operations. The mines are well maintained by the current owners and high level of safety standards are follwed.
