I bought Tanpura (also called Tambura) from G S Musicals which provides base notes for the Indian classical music. Apart from purchasing an instrument, I got the opportunity to know interesting facts and get some insights of the instrument. Mr Altaf (manufacturer) very kindly accepted my request to personalise the instrument. Each and every part of the instrument is so elegant that the player is sure to be taken to the heavens and back. About the delivery, I requested him to ship it to me during Ganesh Utsav, one of the important occasion in India. And he along with his family tried his best to deliver it on time which is really appreciable!

Hi, I got a new santoor instrument from GS musicals. From the day I ordered and the instrument they were so professional in keeping me updated on the progress on making of the instrument. Altaf and Zakir bhai both were so helpful and have put the best effort which I now reflecting in the tonal quality and the final finished product. My family has been buying instruments from them for last 40 years. I was a bit worried as I wanted this instrument to be delivered to Australia which has a lot of custom regulations to get any wooden article in the country. For an international delivery you really need a very good packing so that it gets delivered in the right shape and I must appreciate the work done by Altaf. The instrument was packed with so much of care and packing that not a single scratch was found in instrument fiberglass case. I will just say keep doing the good work and more customer will approach you for any new requirements. I have certainly build the trust and confidence and will surely contact them for any future requirements. Also will be happy to be a referral for any person who want a to buy from GS musicals.
Absolutely stunning music instruments of very high quality, highly recommended. I ordered a tous and a santoor, designed in the style of historical instruments, both of amazing beauty.They were professionally shipped to me from India to Europe in a sturdy custom-made wooden package, and they arrived flawlessly, even during the difficult COVID situation. I purchased a top of the line surbahar. Shipping took a while because of the pandemic but their shop was super responsive on WhatsApp through the process. Price was less than half of what a much lower quality instrument would have cost at the Berkeley Indian musical instrument store. Highly recommended all around. Thank you!
