Very big station, Guntur railway station (station code:GNT) is an Indian railway station in Guntur of Andhra Pradesh. It is situated on the Krishna Canal-Guntur section of Guntur railway division in the South Coast Railway zone. Guntur railway station has seven platforms and two entrances, namely the East and the West.These platforms are interconnected by subway system.The station is equipped with facilities, such as dormitories, parcel office, retiring rooms, drinking water, booking counters, refreshment stalls, separate pathways for public, rampways for disabled people, parking zone for car and auto rickshaws etc. This station is specially ment for goods. There are very few trains for passengers here. This station has special track for loading containers. This is always busy with many lorries and workers. This station can be reached directly from Bus stand by a big road. This has only one counter for distribution of tickets. The length of platform is very big. This has a lot of greenery around.

No minimum facility need to develop more and more . No drinking water snakes nothing facilities available at the station very bad maintenance looking at pictures can see how they are maintaining station

Very old station in Guntur. But, not familiar even to the locals, as it is was used only for good transfer. Now, the station has been electrified & improved. Ola cabs & autos are available here. ️ Vicinity has also been electrified now & security has been increased these days. Station is developing at a good pace. Announcement is not available in this station. So, if you plan journey to/through this station, better keep an eye on the journey time & destination. Drinking water & rest rooms have been in place. But, are not maintained fully yet. Hope anyone from railway department sees this review & acts on it
As all said the infrastructure need to improve a lot. People need to keep the track clean. Garbage need to be installed first.
Remote railway station with a small waiting area, booking office. Only one platform is functional. The location is a bit deep and roads aren't that great, which makes it difficult to reach despite not having much traffic. No waiting hall. Ample parking space is there but not sure about the safety of vehicles if left.
New Guntur Railway station is initiated to halt the main trains running on the major line without entering the city of Guntur. The development is not to the expected level. Only a few trains are given on this route. The maintenance is very much below average. There are no minimum facilities of drinking water and washrooms. A lot needs to be done for its development.
