I was diagnosed as osteo-arthritis in right leg, requiring a hip joint replacement surgery. I had previously experienced a complete hip replacement in 1999 on the left leg which costed me a huge amount in USA. I went online and was lucky to find SafeMedTrip India. Due to unbearable back pain and its resultant effect on the reduced strength in my limbs, my day to day life had become very painful. I was advised Spinal Disc Surgery, but as I have never been admitted in a hospital and was really scared of surgery. Also the expertise of Spinal Micro surgery was not available in my home country Ethiopia. So I started exploring overseas options. All Thanks to Dr. Singh the SafeMedTrip Case Manager who was so sensitive to my situation and always reassuring. She arranged many opinions for me from which I chose a truly competent surgeon at a top India hospital who performed a minimally invasive surgery and I was out of the hospital in just four days. I was delighted with all staff nurses and doctors who were always very attentive, available, kind and considerate. I am now back to my cheerful self and have rejoined work. To discover that I suffered from enlarged Prostate which had some cancer involvement was quite a shock for me just after I turned 55 years last December.
