Almost every employ of the office is a broker themselves. All they know is money. If you give them money then only you can expect some work. On 3/04/2021 I had my driving test but it was not conducted because it was Saturday!! They said that they don't conduct any test on Saturdays. Then why the hell they have an online slot booking option on Saturdays?? Also no notice board was there about no test on Saturdays. They simply don't value us and our time.

The district transport office is situated on the bypass highway. The premises is centrally situated. The tests are conducted in the early morning at around 8 am. Please carry proper documentation for the test. Rest we all know how a district transport office works.
The track for driving test is too short in size & not as per standard. Specially reverse parking stretch test is totally wrong. Why not inspectors allowed drivers to check the whole stretch before test. The test method even old age type. Even 20 years experienced driver are failed due to pathetic conditions. Govt. should give driving test to private company in place if rto. Even the Boeing Pilot can not pass test here..
We need to face very dirty drains filled with garbages before entering office. And inside i feel like it's a fish market.
One of the worst office. I don't understand what's wrong with the Government. Are they blind? Corruption at it's peak here. Touts roaming freely. No work can be done unless you fill their pockets. It's one of the best places to loose weight as they'll make you run around, send you from counter to counter, floor to floor. Pathetic. Shameless place.
Had a very bad experience. Today was my 2nd time there.. this time i had all my documents with me except the acknowledgement for LL. I was said to get the LL acknowledgement, so i did that. Then, there was some error in the address because of the server. Then i went back and finally got the correct address in the acknowledgement. After getting the correct address in the acknowledgement, they say LL cannot be delivered in your address. They could've said me this in the first place but they chose to make me wait in the queue for more than 2 hours. They don't even deserve 1star.

Very Pathetic. Taking out a license in Guwahati is a Harassment. Official are not cooperative and also there are no proper guidelines anywhere. And whatever minimum guidelines are there official don't follow that. After standing in a long long queue you will discover that there is some more documents required which might not have any relevance for that particular task. Online payment system doesn't work most of the time and money will not come back even if your transaction fails. I had to pay twice for same service,Rs.1000 for the main licence. It's a TOTAL HARASSMENT.
