Good service, but they are expensive comparing the govt cruise for the same service to Umananda temple.

The Umananda temple is located on a small island on the Brahmaputra river. The island is called Peacock Island and perhaps is the smallest river island in the world. To visit the place we will need to take a ferry ride from the banks. There is a small hill on the island sheltering the temple namely, Bhasmacala. Lord Shiva is said to have resided here in the avataar of Bhayananda at the Umananda temple. As per the legend goes according to an ancient purana, Kalika Purana, in the very beginning of the creation Shiva imparted knowledge to his wife Parvati on this hill and meditated here. It says that, when Lord Shiva was in meditation on this hillock. It is said that Kamadeva interrupted his yoga and was therefore burnt to ashes by the fire of Shiva’s anger and hence the hillock got the name Bhasmacala. A very small Island having very old Shiva Temple. To visit this temple one has to go by boat. Its a 15 minutes ride through boat, where you can enjoy the calm Brahmaputra. The boat goes both on sharing basis and on reserve basis. The temple is situated on top after climbing stairs which are well maintained. The ambiance is very calm.
The most Affordable/ Cheapest River Cruise in the City 250rs adult & 150 children no food included but there is a restaurant there can get chow roll chicken pakora etc ... & Yes if u want you could book the entire boat 7000rs per hour & food will still be extra there is a variety of options for buffet menu you can select from but kind of Indian home cooked meal ... good packages Starts from 320GST that actually got chicken in the menu there are cheaper menu but only veg items... But yes as the actual boat ride is cheap the interior is not that classy just some cheap table chairs for the one our cruising..
Unbelievably beautiful ship. Just loved the trip i had and the stupendous scenery which I enjoyed very much. At last, thanks to the organiser for gifting us such a beautiful river cruise.
