Close to Wahga Boarder,The town is famous for the Wagah border ceremony and also serves as a goods transit terminal and a railway station between Pakistan and India Wagah is situated 600 metres (2,000 ft) west of the border and lies on the historic Grand Trunk Road between Lahore and Amritsar in India. The border is located 24 kilometres (15 mi) from Lahore and 32 kilometres (20 mi) from Amritsar.
The tall national giving out a sense of patriotism and brotherhood. The way it stands high proudly kissing the border winds makes me realise how lucky I am to be born in this country. It is on the way to the main venue of guard ceremony and from here you can also see the Pakistan flag on the other side. The sight just takes you to 1947 and you sense the pinch in your heart , the wounds of partition still running deep in every Indian heart.
The Tallest India Flag In india.

I consider myself luckily to be able to visit Wagah border. Seeing the tricolour flying in the wind was a treat to watch. Every Indian should visit this place atleast once in their life. I wish this flag was placed inside the swarn jayanti stadium ,just like Pak has placed it.
Very ugly place
