Never could I have imagined that kayaking would be such an amazing experience!! All thanks to Captain Hook's and their amazing crew for the well planned tour. Captain Qutub and Ms. Nafisa are extremely humble and informative hosts and they delivered a very detailed briefing for us when we got there and made us feel comfortable about what lied ahead - all the while answering any doubts we might have, with patience. The guides accompanying us were very experienced and well-versed with the routes. The best part being that they took us on a different route within the creek where there was absolutely No crowd and it further added to the experience. The night, the stars and the peace, along with these great hosts added up to a perfect Kayaking trip! Would highly recommend booking with Captain Hook's to anyone who is looking for kayaking and/or for water activities around Havelock

We booked for kayaking through Mangroves experience with Mr. Ali. It was overall fun and quite managed trip thanks to Ali and his team. Mr. Ali has extensive knowledge of Andamans. We would highly recommend this experience.
I had booked for night kayaking, Mr. Qutub was very helpful. The way he dealt with his clients were remarkable. The experience was mind blowing. I would suggest others to opt for them without any second thoughts.
I visited the Andaman Islands with a friend of mine, and Captain Hook's was our tour operator. They offer some exclusive experiences in Havelock, right from scuba diving to snorkeling and night kayaking Nafisa and Qutub are the nicest people on the island, and they suggested we opt for their exclusive boat trip for a ride around the islands, fishing and snorkeling. This was a once in a lifetime experience!! So surreal and magical, Andaman is truly heaven. When we went night kayaking, the water was full of bioluminescent planktons.. something I've only dreamed about. Stars in the sky and stars in the sea! Can't thank Captain Hook's enough for giving us such lovely memories that will last a lifetime. Also can't wait to go back again!!!
Night Kayaking It was a wonderful experience..... Mr. Ali explained everything to know about kayaking. It was our first time to kayak but we are now confident to do it. We had to postpone our trip date because of heavy winds Mr. Ali ensured our safety to not to go out in that rough environment & it was for better as the next night was a new moon and thus were able to enjoy the magic of bio luminescent waters better. Mr. Ali also explained about the constellations, stars and many facts about them in a very beautiful way. Also we were explained about the mangroves & the bi diversity of Andaman The trip was worth every penny and more....
We are a family of 4 and opted for 2 double kayaks. Knowing that we were completely new to the activity, Mr Ali started off with instructions and made us feel comfortable. We then headed off into the sea and had the best time of our life. Mr.Ali helped us understand the essence and importance of the landscape and it's unique treasures. It wouldn't be exaggerating to say that the mangroves changed our perspective about life. Highly recommend this!
It was an amazing experience doing night Kayaking with Ali. We are a family of 4 with 2 kids. Doing 2 hours of kayaking in totally dark night and that too far from the shore fill us with apprehension. However it turned out to be one of the most wonderful things we have ever done.It was a magical experience in the night with shimmering water and sky full of stars. Also it was not tiring as we had imagined. In Ali we found a guide who was very knowledgeable and somebody who was also enjoying as much as us. We would stop in mid sea, he would explain about formations of stars in the the sky, sometimes just experience the silence all around us. We also went into mangroves and he educated us on how they grow, how they are critical to our ecosystem and overall appreciation of nature around us. If we visit there again we would love to do it all over again.
We were a family of 4 and booked a half day ride with Captain Hooks where we had an entire boat to ourselves. The boat was well stocked with snacks and soft drinks and the captain was very friendly. The captain patiently taught us all to fish, and we caught some beautiful fishes as we went deeper into the sea. We also snorkelled to our hearts content! The best part about the ride is you can do as much of fishing and snorkelling as you choose. The captain was very knowledgeable, enabling us to learn a lot about the islands as well. I would definitely recommend this boat ride as it was definitely the best part of our trip! Captain Hooks also helped us plan our entire itinerary, right from Port Blair to Havelock to Neil and back to Port Blair, complete with hotel bookings and car pickups and there were no hangups during our trip. The trip was well balanced with sufficient amount of adventure and family bonding time. All in all, it was a great experience with really friendly management, big thumbs up! :) Just go ahead and use their services if you are planning a trip to the seas. You will not regret it one bit.
