Good for early morning hike (its very easy hike). You can visit with whole family. I think camping also allowed in the night as I saw few people coming with sleeping bags. Overall good view and nearby weekend get away for Blore people. There is paid parking space available now near the foot of the hill

It's very close to Bangalore and thus best suited for short one day trek plans. The trek is short and comparatively easy. Hence it is best suited for family groups. The place is calm and not very much crowded even during weekends. But there was no availability of water or food on the way during trekking. Hence it is recommended to carry by yourselves. The view is awesome from the top.
This is a Easy-Moderate level hike. Early morning visit is recommended. There is a temple at the top of the viewpoint. We've steps to the hill top which makes the climb easy and also the view from top is really nice. #huthridurga #hike #weekends #viewpoint

A lovely place for trekkers. The view after reaching the summit is awesome. They are cutting the rocks to make steps. So it wouldn't be a strenuous one.
Very small very easy trek nearby bangalore can be done in half day and the rest half sleeping, its good to go by bike in night and stay there uphill fir night and see sunrise. And proceed back to Bangalore but since its a very small trek 4-5 kms to-fro so everyone can go and enjoy the view form top
Great place to trek. Better to go with a guide. One may not figure out the places that easily. Not very difficult and requires around 4 hrs to climb up and come down.
