Decent course with some real good difficulties in few holes. Generally it's very less crowded. Monday is closed and rest of the days are open both times. Two holes (6&7) are across the civil road, which is generally not played. Greens and fairways are average. If not a member RS 100 is charged as green fees. If you visit uninformed, availability of caddy may be an issue.
Few corrections from other people’s review— 1. Course allows civilians to play for a nominal fee, I think it’s 400 rupees. 2. For IGU members it’s 200 for all 18 holes, I’m an IGU member. 3. 18 holes are shared, so actually there are only 9 fairways with different tee box locations. For few holes you have additional greens. 4. Holes 6 & 7 are on the other side of the road, it’s best to avoid them as they are not maintained well as the other holes - most probably because no one crosses the road. It’s a pain to cross that road, trust me, you’ll see how heartless Hyderabad’s traffic is towards pedestrians. Most valuable tip -\u003e make sure you take an expert caddy to locate Golf balls. The rough is terrible here (during rainy and winter seasons) it’s impossible to locate the ball if you didn’t carefully look where the golf ball landed. If you don’t take a caddy, then you’ll become an expert in locating golf balls after pain staking many rounds ;) Lots of peacocks to watch. It’s fun to play here once in a while. The army staff is very courteous.
It is a very nice place. But time is very less we can't enjoy everything there. In only some of the sections we can go.
