I have good and bad experience with Asian Timber Estates. 1. They offer good quality teak logs, but they are not fair in measuring the log volumes. Though they say they offer discount, you will end up paying more for wastage and end up with high cost. 2. They also offer Marble stating that it is an imported quality and that they are offering at 50% of market price. This is where I have had a very bad experience where I was cheated for believing in the owner, Mr. Srinivas, who is claimed to be stinking rich, but when it comes to money, he too never hesitated to cheat. My belief in Mr. Srinivas costed me few lakhs. The mistake I did was that I have not taken the marble fixing guy when I purchased the marble from Asian Timber Estates. I would hence recommend any one anyone visiting this place and were told that they also offer imported marble, please think twice as the quality of marble is so bad and is not worth the price that Mr. Srinivas offers stating that in market it would cost double that what I am offering. Please be careful. The lesson I learnt from my experience: However rich one may be (like Mr. Srinivas owning hundreds of acres of land) when it comes to money and he stoops so low that he never minds to cheat people. The cost I paid for believing in Mr. Srinivas is few lakhs and few sleepless nights.

Be aware of the Asian timber estates, They will talk nicely and tell all movie stories and make you to buy and they dont give clear picture till they receive payment and then the wastage would be more than 50% on each log wise. If you need to buy 5lakh worth wood in market has to pay 15 Lakhs at asian timber estates. Be clear with wastage percentage. Please be careful of this people.

Worst experience with asian timber estates. Their recent concept of selling raw wood with 20% of wastage is completly false concept and they dont give clear picture till they receive payment and then the watage would be more than 50% on each log wise. If you need to buy 5lakh worth wood in market has to pay 10lakhs at asian timber estates. Be clear with wastage percentage.
