Try if you wanna give a shot with your off-roader Provides you an Off-road adventure about 5kms (one direction). Choose if you have capable off-roader and take the challenge to get it on the high. The due road is unsupported as hell and after those long 5kms, you will be blessed with the view early morning which definitly covered with fog if you visit during the season. Dont expect much a scenery/activities/shops over the hill as you barely find some. But a sure shot for offroader within the 100km/ 3hr reach from Ekm. However, not so recommended for Family picnics as it is highly inappropriate to make them climb the mud-road if you get there with normal car/travelers which cant help you reach the hill.

View from the top is beautiful. Visit during early morning or evening time. It's an offroad path , jeep service is available or if you have 4WD then you can have your own offroad experience. Those who are coming with their bikes, at some part of the trail it's pure offroad experience so need to be careful. Getting down is the toughest part especially with bikes because some part of the road it's too steep with big round and pointy rocks, so you need to be extra carefull. There is shop at the top where you can get snacks and refreshments and also there is a resort too.

One of my want to go places. Being an offroader have been looking for places for offroad drives. Just after finishing the Uluppunni drive on the way back drove to the top until where the vehicles are permitted. Saw few cars struggling and stopping on the side and passengers walking up. There are jeeps for rent at the entry point. For us its the thrill of offroad took us here. Our new Thars effortlessly reached top. Great view feom there itself. But as you climb up on foot the nature reveals its beauty in stages. When you the see lake from the top and the mountains all round you will know this is a gem of a place. A must visit for nature lovers.

Suitable to visit in winter season, during summer very hot here. Difficult to drive lower cc bikes and cars. Preferred place of off-road touring
One of the highest points in Kottayam, at a height of 7000 feet msl. Perfect for a jeep safari or nature trek to this place. Sunrise and sunsets are best viewed here. Perfect for photography and to chill out with your loved ones.
A scenic hill view point near Thodupuzha.But what the tragedy is,no smooth road to reach there.Either u walk around 3km or u need an off road vehicle.Otherwise u can hire jeeps from where the smooth road ends,but the rate cant be affordable to common man.I think the authorities there deliberately remain the part of road unrepaired to help the local jeep operators to loot the tourists utilising the bad road conditions
