I took a virtual tour of Hatserandi poter durga puja with Dr. Tathagata. It turned into approximately a conventional village in Bengal where the goddess is paintedin place of idols. Went through alleyways and lanes in old Chinatown where I would have never thought of exploring. The tour is well paced and very informative. The operators also seem to have a good relationship with folks in the community which makes visiting private and public spaces a welcoming experience. Left feeling much more informed about this part of the city. Calcutta continues to amaze.
