Medium level trek experience with not much risk. A beautiful place for nature lovers.
A beautiful village housing 3 massive waterfalls and mind-blowing views. If you're on the right path, you can visit all the 3 falls in a day's hike. There is a decent space to park your vehicles. Do ask any of the villagers about the route. I made the funny mistake of not doing that and tried to discover the path through my offline maps. I ended up spending 2 hours lost in forest. These falls are active only in the rainy season. But proceed with caution because heavy rains can cause rolling rocks and turbulent currents.
Its a long 5-7 km one way trek to the top with thick forest at the start its comfortable but steep to walk then you reach 1st waterfall , u can move to 2nd waterfall by crossing , slippery trek is tiring and risky while going to 3rd falls but it was adventurous trekking experience...loved the trek alot...it was really. was really peaceful..we had lots of fun . Trekking poles may make your journey easy .
A set of three waterfalls, all pretty good. About an hour of hill climb, not that difficult. Unfortunately no pool to enjoy near any of the three falls, but do visit in the monsoon. They tend to go dry post December. How to reach: hivrem village is 14-15 km from valpoi.
Great place for a thrilling hike. The area around has many mansoon-only waterfalls. A 3 km trail from Hivrem will lead a trekker into the falls. Three falls just seperated by about 200 to 300 mtrs are very beautiful. First and last falls are slightly bigger than the centre one. Safe to take bath and enjoy. Care should be taken while walking on the slippery rocks. Wearing water-shoes is advicible. Highly recommended for a day's hike.
Seasonal waterfalls, which can be reached by trekking of about 3 Kms inside the forest. Nice to visit in monsoon.
Beautiful fall located in the Mahadei wildlife sanctuary. Flows only in the monsoons.
