Quite Nice place to visit.. Use to be the Hermitage(Aashram) of Maharishi Valmiki, Very historic place. Found out that Love and Kush son's of Lord Ram were born here. Very large pond holy sarover is there and the historic wall is also there. Need little maintainance. People are very humble. One can also find accommodation here for free but with very basic amenities don't expect too much. Life here in and around is quite like Pind style so one will find the opportunity to explore the lifestyle of Pind( Village)..
Whole infrasture is changed in a very good manner..They still maintained that vintage feel of Ramayan time.. Must visit if you are in amritsar..

Awesome experience being here especially at evening. The lighting and the whole concept is very calming and of course it has a historical value from Ramayana age
