I have completed my A1-B1 courses at LanguageCube foreign language School Kalyan, Thane and have had a very very positive experience learning Deutsch. The teaching is very interactive. It's not like a droning lecture. There will be team activities, paired activities, pictures, videos to make things interesting. You might feel like sitting in LKG class. Right from Day 1 of A1 class, the teacher talked to us in Deutsch. There is no question of talking in English in the classroom. During my A1 class, we had a few queries and we asked them in English. But the teacher just smiled and said -" Ich verstehe kein Englisch." Then, we struggled to ask the question in Deutsch but managed to do so and she clarified it easily. My suggestion is, don't get apprehensive about talking in Deutsch from Day 1. Don't remain a mute spectator in the classroom. Try your best. Even if it is wrong, don't worry. The teacher will tell you the correct method. Deutsch is more similar to Indian languages in sentence formation and structure than English. Sometimes, translation of certain words to English would be confusing, rather you can understand better if you translate it to Hindi or Marathi or other regional languages. Learning at the LanguageCube gives you a good base in Deutsch, which is very important if you have plans to study/live in Germany for a long duration.
