This is very good place to visit with family and explore the all types of casts is available in Maharashtra. There is more focus on farmers life and other people associated with his life.
Good family visiting place which shows the rural india (Karnataka / Kannada influence). It having variety of scenarios with great detailing ...... one thing needed is good maintenance which was ongoing in the place ticket of 150 rs is justified. You can also get food item n other household stuff. Overall experience was quite nice. Just important note is kindly consider the place if you have more than 4 hrs with you else you will miss many places here.
It's the best place to visit if you are in Kolhapur and love history and art and Indian culture. Worth taking kids to introduce the our history and culture. You would need min of 2-3 hours here to see and read the details written over there. You have food stalls inside if incase you are hungry and have lot of parking space available.
It is a great museum where ancient rural traditions and life is depicted through sculptures... Right from Rishis of ancient India, various sports, professions, festivals have been recreated.... They are so life like... It is good place for family vacation time... Young kids love this place...Fees are nominal... It takes almost 4 hours to see all the museum... Very good place and well maintained... Must visit...

In this Musium you got to see a Best work of art of Village Life or Traditional Indian life where everyone Doing There Work witb Great Happiness. The expression on the faces of statues are just Awsome. Shri Kshetra Siddhagiri Math is a historical place. It is temple of Lord Shiva and the shiv-pindi was installed in the 14th century by a Lingayat Priest. Math is surrounded by a stone wall. It is 10 to 12km away from kolhapur city. The temple is situated on hill surrounded by natural beauty. Temple is great Architecture of basalt rock and of Hemadpanti style. It is peaceful place to get good spiritual experience. A 125 feet deep well and a 42 feet huge Shiva idol is worth seeing. The Math or temple is look after by Siddheshwar Trust of monastery . Thousands of devotees form Maharashtra & Karnataka gather on Monday and Maha Shivaratri. The spot is really worth visiting!
Nice place for school students picnic. We can see here village life style. One more good thing for children that Toy train, garden. One scared thing which is Bhoot Banglow. This place is in Kolhapur.
