Nice and quiet beach. Very peaceful area not much crowded. No entry fee , no any shops and restaurants. Small resorts are available near beach. Good option for evening walk and swimming.

Beach is well maintained, you hardly see any person here, but there's no easy entrance here you'll have to climb rock to get here, since this Beach is having heavy waves it is not suitable for children, but fantastic place to chill out..
I stay in the vicinity of this beach. The beach isn't crowded unlike Payyambalam. It's almost vacant during early hours.
Its very very small compared to the other beaches in kannur but it's not crowded and its quite peaceful and the parking was no trouble.
One of the many beaches in kannur . Not too over crowded like other beaches. A nice place to spend evenings. The beach is well maintained and clean. Nice beach to go for a swim and for kids to play. The entrance to the beach is not a proper one. The path is very narrow and not maintained. Its mostly forested. But once you reach the end the beach is such a pleasant view to your eyes.
The shore is too deep. Please be careful while playing.
Thottada beach is not popular among Indian tourists but lots of foreigners visit here . You can say it's a virgin beach and this is the beauty of this beach. Kannur has been connected directly to all major cities via air roots. City have it's own airport now. Few resorts are here to serve tourists and nice homestay too. If you are looking for a peaceful beach then this place is perfect choice for you.
