Perfectly developed after a long time , i would say cg tourism board has done a wonderful job, as the road infrastructure is completed it is hardly 30-40 min away from korba city!

It is properly developed for the purpose o a Safe Family picnic, It has a Boundary Wall also. As the water is too deep so you cant take any kind of risks with the younger ones. There is a big lawn/ ground are where the family can have food. Food can be ordered from the canteen also if you forgot to bring something in rush. A clear lake view from the area will make your Sunset view worthy! Boating activities information is provided at the entrance gate of Picnic Spot. The Garden and Playing area are also there for kids. If you are with a group of friends there is a lot to explore nearby. Also, there are huge ground spaces near the water area. People from nearby places like korba East and West, Balco, NTPC enjoys self cooking activities also. The tribals know, how to party!
It was such a beautiful place for picnic. Great tourist places of korba chhattisgarh. In satrenge there are 2 types of rooms available for Stay. There rent was 5000/- & 2500/- one day cost.
Chhattisgarh tourism board developed satrenga beautifully, a must visit place, we really enjoyed each and every moment when we were there, the taste of food were homely, the people who attending the tourists were outstanding, very soft spoken, co-ordinating properly, over all we can say 'छत्तीसगड़ीया सब ले बढ़िया'। water sports were awesome. Overall one of the best place in our chhattisgarh to visit.
Good picnic spot to go with family and friends. As of today Jan 18, 2021, the roads are not well for last 10-15 kms. There are 2 boating spots: 1. First one by CG tourism, they charge Rs 400 per person for entry that includes boating too. But if you don't want to go for boating then also you need to pay Rs 400. 2. Second one by local villagers, they charge around Rs 30-40 per person. You can get food here too.

The place was very nice and a good place for picnics and photography. There is also a provision for boating and swings for kids. Timing for going in the gate is only till 4pm after that no one is allowed to go inside.
