The person here is a vet, a veterinarian and a really good trainer. Have no second thoughts about entrusting your doggo with Col. R.J Nair. He's one of the best you can get. I had second thoughts about sending my puppy to get trained, but after visiting the place and observing the trainers on duty, I was impressed and it was wholesome to watch the dogs get rewarded with treats as they obey commands.

I joined the residential Professional Dog Trainers Training Course in February 2019. I wanted to learn to communicate better with dogs and thereby train my dog (pictured) to be a socially confident canine. However I learnt so much more about: canine behaviour, training puppies, essential first aid, grooming and most importantly -- the errors that I had unintentionally committed communicating roles and boundaries with my own dogs before this. The course is recommended to anyone who appreciates a direct hands-on approach to learning. The staff guided me patiently throughout the course and were genuinely keen and earnest in imparting their knowledge and experience. It was a wonderful learning experience which has bolstered my courage and equipped me with the necessary skills and understanding to help people and dogs coexist peacefully with each other.

They tortured my dog . I have 2 dogs After 60 days training my dogs have their ears cut with something sharp . Both dogs have similar kind or wounds . I don't recommend this place

Had a wonderful time there. It's the best training academy in India. Col. Dr. KGR Nair is a very genuine, cool headed and friendly man. He is my trainer, my teacher, my Guru and I can't thank him enough for teaching me everything.

I got my Doberman, now 7 years old trained here at the Academy. She was always hyperactive and would not care or pay heed to any commands that we taught her, but post a fortnight being at Cochin Dog Training Academy, she not only recognizes the commands but also pretty much listens to us while being very much her hyperactive self. They have very well experienced staff in this place and they run it not because they mint money here, but because they clearly love dogs and clearly consider each dog different, as they understand that every dog has its own individual character, this is my personal experience with them, I see a lot of them trying to corner them and tarnish their good name so thought I just put in my genuine experience here.

I did my dog (golden retriever) training over here. If Rs30000 is nothing to you. You can definitely send him to Mr. Nair. This guy is not professional and treat the customer so rudely . He will call to you after one month and tell you that training is over. You should make yourself believe your dog is trained. Do not question him. Probably you may get an answer your dog is not trainable. His nature is just like that. Stay away please... My dog is not at all trained well her.

I've just completed the canine training and behavior course from Cochin Dog Training Academy under the supervision of Dr. K.G.R. Nair. At first I would like to express my thanks to respected Nair sir to provide this opportunity to me. It's really a lifetime experience for me. This is the best learning knowledge I had ever experienced. It's a very well designed intensive dog training course with practical hands-on training. The whole syllabus is designed in such a manner that a student can understand every aspect of canine studies including history & evolution of dogs, canine psychology, grooming, canine nutrition, vaccinations and medications, communication between dogs and owners, kennel management and different types of obedience and specialized training method. Patiently Sir taught me how to marring up with a dog in a proper way. With care and attention he cleared my all doubts regarding dog behavior and training skills. Here the trainers and staff are also very friendly & helping. So I would be glad to highly recommend this place for an excellent experience and opportunity for dog parents, trainees, enthusiasts and for all the individuals who are interested in diving into the journey as a canine behaviorist and trainer. If anyone is looking for a complete canine education course, instead of a dog handler course, I suppose this is one of the best places to go.
