Andhiya Well આંધિયા કૂવો

This is the symbolic representation of love of a parsi woman to the people of Kolak. The kind parsi woman, Aima, built this well on 7th June 1938 as a charity work. Charity is deeply found in the culture of Parsi. Now days water distribution system is in operation where by water is given to every home in Kolak. But 80 years before there was not such system and the people had to depend on Wells only. The well was capable of serving water to more than hundred families around it. This is the one of the very few Wells still exist in Kolak. The well is still alive and people are using it for theirs daily requirement of water for cooking and drinking purpose..This well can be preserved as a historical landmark.
