If you wish to explore the beautiful river ganga, no better way than Antara cruises. The picture perfect cruiser offers a dream journey over the river ganges. The cruise liner is a luxury vessel which takes you for a beautiful ride where you get to explore the nearby areas of kolkata. Its starts its sail from indenture memorial and has various cruises to offer. You have to check its schedule on the website so as to know when it will set the sail and where. Our started from kolkata and we had a customised itinerary. On this beautiful sail, we got aquainted with this gorgeous cruiser and how it is run. From taking our pictures donning the captain’s hat to visiting the machinery room, we did it all. We did a heritage walk tour of Banshberia and Chandannagore which was a french colony. And the walk had a sweet ending with our visit to the famous chandannagore sweet shop of modak. The food was very flavoursome and light. The vegetable preparations were just perfect. Despite being on a cruise we were treated to a variety of cuisine. The desserts were equally inviting. It was a wonderful one night two days excursion. A must do thing.. atleast once in a lifetime..
