We approached Dr. Ghosh during an acute episode of mania for a close relative. Dr. Ranjan Ghosh is treating him for last 4 months. He has marked improvement in his condition and a clear cut diagnosis which the previous doctor failed to do and was merely doing symptomatic treatment for 6 years. Dr. Ghosh not only brings the latest in terms of treatment protocols because of his long experience in the US but also his approach is very refreshing. Focused on quality, he is very caring, intuitive and empathetic towards his patients. Thanks doctor for everything you do. How we wish we met him earlier.

Dr. Ranjan Ghosh is an USA return Psychiatrist and knows what he is doing. His approach is very comforting and friendly. You wouldn't feel you are talking to a doctor, you would feel like a friend. He minimizes the no. of medicines and doses as much as he can and maximizes personal effort. He keeps in touch every single day and always there when ever in need. The place is well organized (best for people with OCD). I would suggest to talk to him directly without approaching via anybody else. Go to him without a second thought. You would never regret the visit.

Good karma is the most aesthetically soothing clinic probably you will find in the county. The very vibes of the place makes you feel good. And Dr Ghosh, a wonderful human being...who connects to each of his patients so well be it from 9yrs to 90 yrs. I guess the only one who focuses on the solution not the problems, not on the medicines but healing. Only a good human can make into a good Savior or doc. Dr. Ranjan Ghosh helps in getting better my minimising your medications and using them optimally to produce the best results. This is different from other psychiatrists I have met who overload you with you with medications--making you feel like a zombie. He is the only psychiatrist I have met who is always readily available to answer all my questions on whatsApp and has never dismissed them even if they may be out of line at times. He is very encouraging, compassionate and optimistic--always looking to bring out the best in you. He knows your mind, where you are at, meets you there, and brings clarity to move forward. This is one doctor in Kolkata who is really concerned about his patients. He will ask for your feedback everyday. That made me feel "yes, he is there for me. I am not alone." He is the one who will not pressurise you to take medicines !! The ambience of the clinic is very calming. There is a special room for children who can play while you can talk in private with your doctor. The facility for online consultation is the best thing. Sometimes it's hard to take the patient to the clinic. Professional yet caring doctor!!
