Neat and clean place. Well maintained by KOLKATA MUNICIPAL CORPORATION. Proper funeral services are offered by the "OGRODANI" Brahmin and "DOMES". Air conditioning waiting rooms are offered for the mourners at free of cost. But lots of mosquitoes were there which is a disadvantage. There is a display board where the charges for various funeral processes are mentioned. U will be able to see that the different religious and spiritual sculpture of Hinduism which is related to death. There is also the provision of toilet and drinking water. THE FINAL DESTINATION is really good.

If anybody want to come here from Howrah or sealdha then they should get down at rashberari more or by metro,get down at kalighat station.

It is a burning ghat for the Hindus. Here both electric and wood are used. It is a Maha samsan. Which operates 247. It's not a place which will make you happy but it is well organized and well decorated by the government.
