The Westin Kolkata Rajarhat boasts of a modern Asian cuisine restaurant on the 31st floor. On weekends there is a buffet with both alcohol and non-alcohol variants and on the remaining days à la carte is available. The restaurant offers a bird's eye view of New Town, Rajarhat and the seats commanding the view is really an added bonus. It is advisable to make reservations before visiting. The food is prepared as per your taste and thought at times it takes a bit long for the dishes to arrive in between courses, it is worth the wait. There is a live teppanyaki grill station and the chef's skills are really a treat for both the eyes and the taste buds. The live music adds to the ambience. Kuntal deserves special mention as his recommendations and service made our culinary visit truly memorable.

First time at Nori..came back home satisfied. Loved the ambience, the food. From service point they just hit it. I ordered for a Tuna Maki roll. The crispy spicy water chestnut is a must try. The chef came running to our table to please order the salmon as it was extremely fresh as compared to the tuna. Wow! Now that is what I call customer service! Shubham took good care of our requirements at the table too. Overall a thumbs up to this one!
Food was good. Nothing over the top for a restaurant in a 5* We tried ordering a couple of chef's special but they were not serving those. A first world problem in a third world country. However, felt odd that they served the main course on the same plates we had our starters in. I do not want the sauce and gravy from starter infusing into my main course. Lastly, we paid in cash and they rounded it to the nearest 100 when returning the balance. Its a very small amount in the grand scheme of things. However, seeing the balance short without a word was a downer.

The Westin Kolkata Rajarhat has a dedicated Japanese Cuisine Restuarant named Nori on the 31st Floor of the hotel. With the awesome view of the city, you get to dine in with food prepared by the best chefs. In Frame are Cream Cheese Maki Aburi Shake Shake Sahimi Matcha Cheesecake Tub Tim Krob ( Chilled Jellied WaterChestnut, Sweet Coconut Cream) Overall a great experience and their hospitality is really awesome.
Loved our Teppanyaki Set Menu dinner at the Nori, perched on the 31st floor of the Westin. Chef Frank was a joy to watch as he kept preparing the most exotice courses one after the other. Goes without saying this was the best Japanese vegetarian food I have ever had. Thanks for making the evening not just appetizing but a memorable one too! The warm hospitality is a Big 5 Star too!!
