Did a technical mountaineering course with them and they were friendly in personalizing the trip for us as much as possible. They allowed us to crash at their place and we love their dogs!!:) We had some hiccups with them concerning meals on the mountain and we were glad that the following year, they made sure it didn't happen by taking extra measures. It will be good to go through your expectations with them prior to the trip but overall great friendship with Kaushal and his crew!

I had the opportunity to attend the basic mountaneering course in 2017 with this company. The instructor Suresh and the rest of his staff were excellent and very patient with all of us. It was fun experience and very useful course if you want to attempt some peaks in the future.
We had an awesome time doing the basic mountaineering course and have continued to climb since then. The course provides a solid foundation in mountaineering and is very professional. The guides are qualified, professional and go the extra mile to ensure you have a good time and reach your personal goals. Kaushal is a great guy and I wouldn't hesitate to go on any future Himalaya trips with Above 14000ft. Did a basic mountaineering course with above14000ft in 2009 (instructor Om Prakash), as well as an attempt on Kang Yatse 1 in 2011 (guided by Kaushal himself). These 2 trips built the foundation of my mountain skills. Kaushal is an overall nice guy who even let us crash in his house on more than one occasion, as we were poor students then!
We engage Above14000ft to conduct a technical mountaineering course in Manali. Subsequently, I engage Above14000ft for my own personal hiking trip to Deo Tibba and Goecha La. Being friendly yet professional, Kaushal (the boss of Above14000ft) does not simply extend arms and legs to please his customers at the expense of safety. He guides, but more importantly, he educates. That's the reason why I keep getting back to Above14000ft.
