The best part of the trek is views from this peak. Until here one feels that it is the highest point and last point of trek. However, once arrived you will find the kumara parvatha peak on to your front which has to descended for some distance and ascend again. Best point for pictures.

They say its the 2nd highest peak in Karnataka, they say its the toughest trek in Karnataka. Both are facts :) . If you want adventure and challenge yourself, plan one day trek it's worth it. If you happen to be there, pls do not litter and pickup stuff other might have dropped. Nature at its best They should however curb the number of people trekking on any given day. It will help the flora and fauna co-exist with trekker.

Most beautiful place to trek & approximately it takes 5-6 hours to trek(one side), it has 13 kilometers distance for one side. You can trek all around year. Best time for trek will be post monsoon months. October to February will be best time to trek.

A trek for lifetime. Although it's a lengthy difficult trek, it is a trail everyone must go through at least once. The trek comprises of trail which go through several phases. Starting from Subramanya, it's quite hiking through a mild forest at first phase till you reach Bhatra mane or forest check point. After you start from this, it's all about hiking through the surface of mountains. The final stage comprises of a thick forest walk for 1.5kms and rock climbing to reach the peak.

Kumar parvatha is hidden back side of the shesha parvata. After reaching shesh parvata still 2 more kilometers we need to treak. After shesha parvata we will get a belt of thick forest which we can enjoy lot

Amazing view of kumara parvatha and of the trekking trial from Subramanya from here. Not so easy to climb for first timers till here, no water source available here. 2 more kms from here to kumara parvatha peak. Forest officer don't allow to climb here before 6, max we can reach here only by 8:30 - 9 in the morning after climbing from forest officers place. Will be going here again. Wished they allowed us to tent anywhere near to this place.

One of the wonderful hill on the way to kumara parvatha. Kallu mandapa is a stone construction to take rest, it's near to shesha parvatha. We can found a small natural water resource near to it with tasty natural water. This entire area was covered by jio and Vodafone signalling. Except few points most of the hills are covered by network. It's awesome place to visit nature lovers.
