It was established in the year 1940 and is owned and managed by the Kaatholicka Bava of the Malankara Orthodox Sabha. It is also known as Puthenpally. It has a pleasant and peaceful environment. It is located between Kannaadichal Junction and Kumarakom Petrol Pump. The Kottayam - Kumarakom State Highway (SH 42) passes through it.
