A nice place to be if your interest is in organic farming. The organization has done a fantastic job in the rural development by promoting sustainable farming at affordable cost. As you step in, you will be greeted with abundance of nature, learn about bio-diverse farming, know about the journey of the farm over the last two decade and enjoy delicious food. You can take back some fresh memories and some of their products to begin a new journey.

We had very high hopes from Tona Organic Farm. Its a small property with low maintenance. We saw some seasonal vegetables as well as some good greenery. But the biggest downside was the behaviour of a lady at this farm. Before entering itself we took prior permission and also had tried to call and book a visit. But the phone was not answered. The lady started shouting st us and asking us with whose permission we have come. Her behaviour and tone was totally unacceptable. It was rude and obnoxious. Will advice people to not go to this place as you may very well be insulted!
Spent a day at the farm with a few friends and family. It was a wonderful experience as we soaked in nature, interacted with the founder members, learned about organic farming as well as enjoyed the sumptuous meal. It was not only cooked and served by them, but entire meal was prepared with organic products from the farm. During the pandemic, Tona Farm was my regular source of getting fresh vegetables, fish and meat delivered at the doorstep. But visiting the farm is a different experience. It was an enjoyable picnic cum learning experience.

The farm is great. We had a brief visit. Interacted with a few staff. All the staff we met were friendly.. except one old lady who was sitting in the office. Her behaviour was pathetic..and very classless. Apparently, i had a telephonic conversation with one of the managers(?) who was out of station and was busy. He said we could visit, but have to book a tour for guided tour. After reaching, knowing that there was no one to give us a guided tour, we roamed about for about 5 mins after seeking permission from one of the senior staff. After that we went to their store to buy some fresh organic produce. The old lady sitting there, behaved in a hostile manner, unacceptable to us. She was horrible. She said, there is entry fees.. this.. that.. which we insisted to pay.. but, that too was not good enough for her... again she threw tantrums.. that why we came without booking. I said its ok.. that we didnt got guided tour, but anyway insisted to pay. I was with my family just to enjoy the nature, on a weekend.. as all of us are hard core plant lovers. Immideately, we returned highly disappointed without buying anything wondering what wrong did we do!!
