You are in beach town, and this is one of the best place to do surfing. Unfortunately I never had any prior experience, and came to know about mumu surf school (mumusurfindia.com) On a trip to Mahabalipuram visited them and went for morning training session. Never ever I thought I could achieve so much surfing in one class, kudos to trainer and Mukesh, for such an organized way of teaching !! Would like to do everytime when we visit Mammalapuram!! Must visit place, and experience the waves and surfing!! As their tagline says - Connect to the ocean, feel the waves!!!

Murali, Apu and team are really good trainers who get up in few wave runs. Must try sport if you are in Mahabalipuram.
This is one of the best schools in India with the best people and vibe! The team is super passionate about the sport, teaching, the environment and protecting marine life! Learnt so much about the water and made some significant improvement with my surfing under their guidance and constant support. Don't hesitate to surf with them and Mahabalipuram makes for a great vacation spot with some amazing and super talented locals :)
It's a super chill surf school with great instructors. Murali was really good coaching me and my buddy. It was our first time and he managed to help us ride a couple of waves. He's super patient and helped us a lot on the water. I would highly recommend. Definitely coming back.

My instructor was Rahul, a very composed guy who has patience with his students. Will recommend to anyone who wants to learn surfing because if you have passion to do it, they know how to mould it.
Amazing experience. Great chaps. Do get spare change of clothes and sunscreen though. There is space to keep your stuff while you surf.
