Awesome place near Mandrem Beach, there are a few foreigners who are taking care of more than 90 stray dogs, there are many volunteers who are taking care of the dogs. They really need funds or any food which you can contribute so that they can take care of all these dogs. You can spend some time with the dogs and do some heavy petting.

Wonderful place for any dog lover. The people over there take atmost care for the animals with all love & respect. If you're a dog lover and if you're visiting mandrem, you should visit dog temple for sure.
Amazing place, they take of dogs very well.. Must visit if you are a Dog lover. You can also donate some food of you wish to... like pedigree, eggs, rice and dal. There are about 80 dogs
These guys from Germany are doing great job!!! Met Fabian who is one of the Volunteer for this shelter home, generous people, if u are a dog lover then u must visit this place atleast once in your lifetime, just make sure you don't get lost while following the Gmaps Navigation, take help by asking locals to find the way to this place. If u want to adapt puppies from stray dogs or local goan breed as well, you can get them adapted from these guys. They are the real care-takers of stray dogs in Goa.
One of the lesser known places in Goa. This is an abode to 68 abandoned/injured/handicapped dogs. Near Mandrem, Goa this place is owned by a 85 year old German lady who is ably assisted by 3 German acquaintances. They are selflessly taking care of man's best friends in this place. It is a must visit for any dog lovers. Goa is not just about booze and beaches !!! :)
