Huge lake with a cemented walking track around it. Pleasantly surprised to see the lake scrupulously clean . Thanks to Corona !!Enjoyable quiet morning walk ,just being a part of Nature in itself is therapeutic.One request to the authorities ,the walking track can be a bit more widened. This will ease the joggers and walkers . Too many stray dogs a menace. It's quite scary too. However, Well kept lake and park area ,with adequate waste bins and drinking water taps . Thank you,that was a good experience for a visitor.

Beautiful place for morning and evening walk.. Looks amazing at sunset. Families also come here to chill. It has cement benches to sit and relax. It's approx 1.8 - 2 km circumference. Ideal for a run and walk.
Was very lucky get this shots in the summer before monsoon. Huge fresh water lake. It has a trail in the circumference of the lake. Lust of greenary. There are benches at every few meters of walk. You can jog, walk, run and do lots of activities. BUT CYCLES ARE NOT ALLOWED. Weird!! but thats the rules put by the community. I visit this lake every morning to get some nice clean oxygen and so some brisk walk and jog. If you are keen to boating with your family or friends then u must be having a boat as there is not provisions to arrange here. But a great place. This lake is a home of several seen and unseen wildlife. Beautiful place for couples to spend their romantic evening. Though it has some strict time scale. But beside you are free to do what ever u like. There is also badminton court in one area and if you are entering from the Manipal Lake Road. (middle gate) then you will find the Ganesha Temple. BEST FOR ELDERS TO WONDER IN THIER Free time.

Beautiful atmosphere...especially for morning /evening walk/jogging... You can also watch the amazing sunset...Benches are provided throughout so that you can sit and relax.. Its a huge lake..One round is about 2.4 kms..There is a walking track around the lake..
Nice place to chill with family in the evening, has a good walking track, boating also available but seasonal.
Serene and peaceful! Hope the locals take more advantage of it.
